As always, catch” The Grooveyard” Thursday evening from 9-11 PM on 88.1 FM on Long Island, the 88,1 FM tab on the WCWP website or by searching for WCWP 88.1 FM on your Smart Phone’s Tune In app.
But first, the continuation of a holiday tradition. Several years ago as part of a pre-July 4th show, Pete Fornatale posted a link for a virtual fireworks site on his “Mixed Bag” show’s message board. At the time, Pete suggested that listeners click on the display so we could all experience the online fireworks during the finale of his show. Since then, that same site was posted on Pete’s message board each year at this time, at first by him and later by Alan Seltzer or another friend. Pete died two months ago and the Mixed Bag message board no longer exists, but the holiday tradition continues here. If you can’t get to see live fireworks this year for any reason, enjoy the virtual fireworks here.
Have a wonderful Fourth
from everyone at The Grooveyard
. . . where oldies come alive!
