A pre-holiday celebration and Alan Seltzer’s first-ever second generation guest are scheduled for “The Grooveyard” and “The Rock Show” on WCWP-FM this week.
Filling in for Alan on “The Grooveyard” Thursday night at 9 PM, Supersub Bobby G will offer a Six-Pack of songs about angels and devils for the holiday week. The Top Ten @ 10 will feature the hits of March 28. 1956.
The next night at 7 PM, Alan Seltzer takes the reigns of “The Rock Show”. He’ll be joined by author Peter Thomas Fornatale, co-author with his late father of a new book, Fifty Licks: Myths and Stories from Half a Century of the Rolling Stones. We’ll talk about the Rolling Stones, the book itself and collaborating with his late father, WNEW-FM and WFUV radio personality Pete Fornatale. The elder Fornatale was Alan’s guest on “The Rock Show” and “Seltzer With a Twist” on two occasions, making Peter Thomas his first second-generation guest.
