NBC’s Friday night music show, “The Midnight Special” had a special edition featuring oldies artists on May 16, 1975. The show was hosted by Chubby Checker and included many Grooveyard-era artists. On Thursday night at 9 PM, “The Grooveyard” will look back at that broadcast, playing the music of many of the artists that appeared on that show. We’ll also feature the Top Ten @ 10 from May 16, 1959.
