The “Sing Alan Sing” challenge will benefit WhyHunger’s grassroots efforts to end hunger both in the United States and abroad. Donations of any amount are welcomed here. WhyHunger has the rare accomplishment of getting three consecutive four-star ratings–the highest possible–from Charity Navigator, a major rating firm in the non-profit sector. Please donate here. Alan Seltzer’s personal goal is $1 short of the total where he will have to sing.
Voting in the finals of the Grooveyard Greats listener survey begins Thanksgiving Day. The top vote-getters from the first round will be included in the finals. Links to all the fist round results are on the Grooveyard Greats page. Updates on voting are available via Twitter. And join Alan Seltzer on “The Grooveyard” Thursday nights at 9 PM ET on wcwp.org, or on 88.1 FM in Nassau County.
