We’ll celebrate the Christmas season with this week’s edition of “The Grooveyard”, with host Alan Seltzer counting down the top holiday hits of the Grooveyard era. This week’s show will have a delayed start following the live broadcast of special radio dramatization of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” from the Hillwood Cinema at LIU Post in Brookville beginning at 8 PM. Admission to the broadcast is free, although a donation to Long Island Cares will be requested at the door.
Voting ends Thursday at 11 PM in the final round of the “Grooveyard Greats” listener surveys. The top vote-getters from the first round surveys advanced to the finals. You can choose your 15 favorite songs of the first round winners here daily through Thursday. Updates on voting are available via Twitter.
“The Grooveyard” can be heard on 88.1 FM on Long Island, the 88.1 FM link on wcwp.org or the TuneIn app on your SmartPhone. Feel free to send song requests, comments and suggestions via Twitter or our comments and dedications pages.
