Merry Christmas!

We’re taking the night off for the holiday, but hope you will join us for a five-hour edition of “The Grooveyard” at a special night and time Friday night starting at 7 PM when we count down the results of the Great 88 listener survey.  In the meantime, we finish unwrapping videos of one song that just missed the survey tonight with number 89.   Our pre-survey show begins at 6 PM.  Check out the complete year-end schedule here.

 After recording this hit record, lead singer Tony Middleton left the group for a solo career in 1957. After recording for several years without chart success, he moved to Paris in 1962, where he acquired a large following.(2013: not on survey, 2012:  not on survey)
