A celebration of a beloved radio show’s anniversary and one-hit wonders highlight the week on “The Grooveyard” and “Saturday Soiree’.

Thursday night at 9 PM, “The Grooveyard” will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the debut of the “Doo Wop Shop” on WCBS-FM by playing many of the songs and artists that were popular on the show.  Host Alan Seltzer’s Top Ten @ 10 features the hits of June 25, 1961.SatSoiree logo

On the “Saturday Soiree”, host Scott Perschke features an hour of one-hit wonders, artists who only had one charted hit.  The Soiree Survey features the charted songs from June 27, 1964.
