The Finals . . . and New Beginnings

Voting is now open in the final round of the Grooveyard Great 88.  Pick your 10 favorite songs in each of the time periods daily through December 10 at 11 PM.  The three surveys will be combined for the final survey, with the results unveiled during a special five-hour edition of “The Grooveyard” Saturday, December 26 at 7 PM.  Here’s some helpful links:

Here’s our upcoming events:

  • Thursday, November 26:  Off for Thanksgiving.
  • Thursday, December 3:  “The Grooveyard” returns at 9 PM with an update on the Great 88 plus other surprises.
  • Thursday, December 10:  Holiday favorites and more on the final full Thursday night edition of “The Grooveyard” at 9 PM.  Also, voting closes on the final round of the Great 88 at 11 PM.
  • Monday, December 14:  The “12 Days of Greats”, videos with the 12 songs that just missed this year’s Great 88, are posted daily through December 25 on wcwpgrooveyard.com.
  • Thursday, December 17:  “The Grooveyard” will be heard following the conclusion of the LIU Post Pioneers Basketball game.  We’ll repeat the holiday show from last year.
  • Saturday, December 26:  A special five-hour edition of “The Grooveyard” counting down the 2015 Great 88.  We’ll also post videos of the songs and other information online.
  • Saturday, January 2:  At 7 PM, “The Grooveyard” begins a new year with an expanded show at our new regular day and time.
