We’ll celebrate the 77th birthday of Dion Saturday night on “The Grooveyard” with a 77-minute celebration of his music with and without the Belmonts.
Host Alan Seltzer starts at 7 PM with an hour of Dion’s popular and forgotten hits, including a recording of the iconic 1972 reunion concert with the Belmonts at Madison Square Garden. Later in the show, we’ll feature some interesting cover versions of his music in the Under the Covers segment. Our Grooveyard Top Ten will feature the songs of July 16, 1958, and we’ll play your favorites during the Grooveyard Party Hour.
