We’re giving away tickets to a great oldies concert and playing silly songs on “The Grooveyard” Saturday night at 7 PM.
Host Alan Seltzer will feature a variety of silly and novelty songs for April Fools Day. The Grooveyard Top Ten will feature the top hits of April 1, 1960. There’s also time for your requests and dedications during our Grooveyard Party Hour.
In addition, tickets to the Rock and Roll Spectacular at Holy Cross High School in Flushing will be given to lucky listeners. The April 22 show will featureRon Dante (of the Archies and Cufflinks), Charlie Thomas’ Drifters (“Under the Boardwalk”), Emil Stucchio and the Classics (“Till Then”), 1910 Fruitgum Company (“Simon Says”) and Barbara Harris and the Toys (“Lover’s Concerto”) The show benefits the Father’s Club at Holy Cross High School.
