Join host Alan Seltzer on “The Grooveyard” Saturday night at 7 PM when we feature artists celebrating birthdays this month. We’ll feature a six-pack of hits by Buddy Holly, whose birthday was on September 7th.
The birthday celebration continues throughout the show. Our Grooveyard Top Ten will feature the hits of September 30, 1962, includes two artists with September birthdays. We’ll also play your favorites during the Grooveyard Party Hour and update results on the Grooveyard Great 88 and have a surprise or two.
Voting continues in our sixth annual Grooveyard Great 88 listener survey. The poll for the best songs from 1955 and earlier closes at the end of Saturday’s show at 10 PM. You can also pick your 10 favorite songs from 1963 and 1957, and the poll for the best songs from 1962 opened this weekend. You can also find the results of earlier surveys in the Great 88 section.
