We’ll celebrate the first anniversary of “Rick’s Redneck Ranch” Saturday night on “The Grooveyard” with an hour of Rockabilly music from the Grooveyard era. Host Alan Seltzer will also go “Under the Covers”, playing original versions and interesting cover versions of some of the songs. The show has been heard immediately before “The Grooveyard each Saturday since December 10 of last year.
In addition, the Grooveyard Top 10 will feature the hits of December 916 1958, andwe’ll play holiday hits and other favorites during the Grooveyard Party hour.
Results of our sixth annual Grooveyard Great 88 listener survey are being compiled. We’ll begin our traditional “Twelve Days of Greats” Tuesday on this site by unveiling one song each day that just missed the survey. The Great 88 will be announced during a special five-hour edition of “The Grooveyard” on Saturday, December 30 from 7 PM to midnight.
