The Honor Group of the Day will be Dan Ingram fans when The Grooveyard plays tribute to the legendary disk jockey Saturday night.
Host Alan Seltzer will feature recordings of Dan Ingram’s classic moments on the air and will share memories with Bill Mozer, an engineer at WABC who often worked with Ingram. The Grooveyard Top Ten focuses on the hits of June 30, 1961, the date of the radio host’s first “unofficial” show on WABC.
The Summer Song Survey results special originally planned for this weekend has been rescheduled and will be heard next Saturday. You’l hear the results on next week’s show. We’ll also have video versions of the Top 50 hits and a survey sheet–just like the ones handed out at record stores–online.
