Host Alan Seltzer winds up the July 4th celebrations Saturday night at 7 PM when “The Grooveyard” unveils the results of this year’s Summer Song Survey. The survey show, was postponed from last Saturday due to the special tribute to Dan Ingram.
As in past summer song surveys, the poll features both songs about the season and hits popular during the summer months. The songs may have been heard on transistor radios while walking on the beach or at a picnic, or at an amusement park. A record number of listeners voted in the poll, topping last year’s survey by over 4% and topping 2016’s survey by 65%. We’ll also have video versions of the Top 50 hits and a survey sheet–just like the ones handed out at record stores–online.
