Songs by many dynamic duos will be featured when National Ampersand Day is celebrated Saturday night on The Grooveyard.
According to Chas DeSimone, founder of AmperArt and the originator of the holiday, he discovered several of the characters in “September 8” could be cleverly disguised as an ampersand when different fonts are used.
Along with the duos, the Grooveyard Top 10 will feature the hits of September 8, 1962 and we’ll play more of your favorites during the Grooveyard Party hour.
Voting continues in the first round of the Great 88 surveys. You can continue to choose your favorite hits from 1958, and the survey for the best of 1962 just opened. A full first round schedule and addtional information can be found here. You can also find the results of earlier surveys in the Great 88 section.
