Lots of rockabilly music is on tap Saturday night on The Grooveyard Saturday night when host Alan Seltzer pays tribute to Rick’s Redneck Ranch on their second anniversary. Host Alan Seltzer will also go “Under the Covers”, playing original versions and interesting cover versions of some of the songs. The show, heard immediately before The Grooveyard each Saturday, first aired since December 10, 2016.
In addition, the Grooveyard Top 10 will feature the hits of December 15, 1963, and we’ll play holiday hits and other favorites during the Grooveyard Party hour.
Results of our sixth annual Grooveyard Great 88 listener survey are being compiled. We’ll begin our traditional “Twelve Days of Greats” Monday on this site by unveiling one song each day that just missed the survey. The Great 88 will be announced during a special five-hour edition of “The Grooveyard” on Saturday, December 29 from 7 PM to midnight.
