This Weekend: Flashback 1963

Iconic images from 1963, including Bob Dylan, Martin Luther King and Dusty Springfield

It was the year when Lyndon Baines Johnson was sworn in as president following the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.  It was also the year when James Bond made his way into movie theaters, when Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech, and when a group from Liverpool made their way to stateside record stores.

Saturday night at 7 PM PM, Alan Seltzer will focus on the music of 1963 in another Flashback special show on “The Grooveyard”.  We’ll play all the top 50 hits of the year and as many bonus songs from the year as possible.
