Best of: Top Hits of 1960


It was the year of the first televised presidential debate…when Elvis was discharged from the Army…when the fight against segregation took place at a lunch counter at Woolworth’s …and Mary Martin performed “Peter Pan” live on television for the first time.

Saturday night at 7 PM, join Alan Seltzer for a repeat broadcast the top hits of 1960 in a Flashback special show on “The Grooveyard”.  We’ll count down the Top 50 songs of the year and share as many other hits that charted in 1960 as possible.

Note that the originally scheduled show for this week will be rescheduled.  Host Alan Seltzer had to cancel the show’s recording due to illness.  He hopes to return soon.
