I have always found Astrology fascinating. Maybe I got that from my Aunt Helen. I don’t know. While it should always be taken with a grain of salt, I always find people’s astrological signs and horoscopes are more “right on” than wrong. More recently, I began to learn about Numerology (which is basically Astrology with Numbers…) and that was pretty spot on too.

From way back, people were fascinated with the Zodiac signs of celebrities. It was always fun to compare your signs with theirs, so that’s what we’re gonna do in this post.

I will be listing the biggest stars of the 1950’s era and his or her Zodiac, aka Star Sign. I’ll also be listing their Eastern (aka Chinese) Zodiac Sign, plus their Life Path Number. If you don’t know what these are, please read below. If you do, just skip to the list!

A “Star Sign” is your sign on the Western Zodiac. It’s determined by where the sun was during the month you were born. For example, Buddy Holly’s Star Sign was Virgo. Virgos are born between August 24th and September 22nd.

The “Eastern” or “Chinese Zodiac Sign” is determined by the year you were born. There are 12 animals on the Eastern Zodiac which keep repeating. For example, Buddy Holly’s Chinese Zodiac Sign was The Rat because he was born in 1936.

However, this is a bit more complicated. Example: Don Everly was born in 1937, but his Chinese Zodiac sign is also The Rat. Why? Because The Lunar New Year begins sometime in either January or February (it is different each year) In 1937, the Lunar New Year began on February 10, 1937. Don was born on February 1, 1937– BEFORE Lunar New Year, thus making him a Rat, not an Ox.

Finding anyone’s Life Path Number is simple. You just add together the numbers of their birthdate. Using Buddy Holly as an example again, he was born on the 9th month on the 7th day of 1936.

9+7+1+9+3+6 = 35

3+5 = 8

Life Path Number = 8

Maybe you match with someone? Without giving too much away about myself, I will tell you that I match ALL THREE with one of the Biggest and most Talented stars of the 1950’s. But I won’t tell you who!
