1955 and Earlier – The Results


While the listener poll for hits from 1955 and earlier has traditionally been one of our closest surveys, our top five had significantly more votes this year than the other songs.  In fact, the three top songs all had more votes than any song on the 1955 survey in the first four years of the survey.  We had two repeat songs in the top five from previous years.  The Penguins returned for the fourth consecutive year, and the Spaniels were back in the top five for a second time.
