There was a wide variety of choices in the survey for your favorite songs of 1959. A total of 72 different songs received some support including seven write-in options. One of those write-ins received enough votes to reach the final round of the survey. Two songs–by Dion and Jackie Wilson–repeated in the Top Five for the third consecutive year.
